Valorant is the name of the game developed by Riot Games and its popularity keeps rising day by day. Everyone loves the first person shooter that combines tactical gameplay with individual character abilities. It is free to play, meaning everyone who does not even have money can get the experience doing tactical gameplay.
While it is true that the game is totally free, there are some other things that make Valorant not for everyone. In the game, there are a lot of items that are available to be purchased by the players to make them stand out compared to the others in the crowd. Among these items, one of the most popular and one of the most favorite items is called weapon skin.
Every skin in Valorant may have a good appeal and you may not resist getting it so that in the end you lose the battle and keep adding to your collection. After some time of getting these, however, you may realize that they are not the ones that you want or they do not meet your expectations.
The same thing can happen to the other things in the game. When you purchase something, it may be far from your expectation or you just realized that you do not really need it. If this kind of thing happens to you, it is normal if you want a refund. The question is whether it is possible to refund in Valorant.
Apparently, refunding something in Valorant is not a new thing and it is possible for a player like you to do that. However, it is worth noting that not everything is able to be refunded, meaning there are a few that cannot be refunded. What are those things?
The in-game premium currency (just like RP or Valorant Points), champions, skins, ward skins, individual chromas, emotes, rune pages, summoner name changes, summoner icons, chroma packs, recalls, baubles, arena skins, Little Legends, cards, and card styles are among the ones that can be refunded. As for the ones that cannot be refunded, the list includes gifts (it does not matter if it is sent or received), boots, account transfers, chests, bundles, promotional items, esports summoner icons, Hextech inventory (such as chests, keys, and shards), Poro Coin content, event passes (including the Premium Battle Pass and Premium Battle Pass levels), earned content, character contract levels, weapon skin levels, in game regular currency (such as Radianite Points or Star Shards), Little Legends Eggs, and Booms!.
Aside from making sure that your item is counted as one of these that can be refunded, you will also have to make sure that the item must be the one that is considered as unused. Besides, it should not have been upgraded. There is no way for you to refund the one that has been used or has been upgraded. Not only that, another one is that the item has to be purchased in less than 14 days ago.
Once you are sure about all the things, you can request a refund through the Checking Your Purchase History page. Here is everything to follow:

- The first thing that you have to do is to go to the official website of Riot Games Support.
- When you are there, you will be able to see the list of the game. As you play Valorant, then you will have to select the Valorant option.
- By selecting this option, you will be taken to a new page where you have to choose the Purchase History option. This one is the first one from the left and the last one from the right. It is located next to Useful Error Codes.
- You will then be directed to the Checking Your Purchase History page. On this page, please log in and you should be able to see your purchase information popping up.
- Then, find a specific purchase and then click on the Refund button that is located beside it.
- If the item that you want to refund is available to be refunded, the Valorant game client will open and you will get a refund.
It should be easy for you to refund a skin in Valorant if you follow every step mentioned above well without skipping any. In case you are having a hard time, you can seek help by visiting the communities or forums related to the game. In these kinds of places, you can try to ask or discuss with the other members who have the same interest as you. To ask something or to make a discussion, an online community or forum usually requires you to log in to the platform. Please do it. If you have no account, then please create one first.
Talking about the Valorant purchase history, it will display a few things, including the date of the purchase, the amount of Valorant points added or subtracted as a result of purchase, the payment method, and the dollar amount charged.
