Patty is a peppy cow villager who appeared in every Animal Crossing game until now. Her name relates to a cow pat (another name for cow dung) or beef patty. Probably, her Japanese name comes from Karupisu, a Japanese milk-based soft drink. Her catchphrase is based off of “How Now Brown Cow”, a phrase which helps the children learn rounded vowel sounds. Also, it is a greeting. Patty is the only bovine to appear in every Animal Crossing game in the series. Aside from that, Patty has the fashion hobby. Patty is a brown cow villager with a beige nose, yellow horns, hands and a tuft of brunette hair. Formerly, her shirt is the citrus shirt, later renamed to Orange dress in Animal crossing: New Horizons. For your information, the Citrus Shirt is only available from Gracie, however it is also available at Able Sisters in City Folk and New Leaf. A chocolate brown cow named Patty carries a Gelato Umbrella on rainy days. Probably, she is a Brown Swiss cow. Aside from that, Patty also has a small smile that she always uses to sing.

Frequently, Patty appears to be in a good mood and they are easy to become friends with.
