Ranged (crossbow)
The most effective ranged weapon that is recommended to be used when facing Vorkath is called the dragon hunter crossbow. Despite its cost makes it unavailable for a lot of players, it is still the best one. The passive effect damage and accuracy of this one can boost the stack with the Salve amulet (i) or Salve amulet(ei).
Besides, you will be allowed to hit in the 70s with Void Knight without the special effects at 99 Ranged. However, it is worth noting that no bonuses are offered by Salve amulet and Salve amulet (e) to Ranged and the amulet has to be imbued to provide the bonuses. If you want to get less damage, please combine either dragonfire ward or anti-dragon shield with the dragon hunter crossbow while using Protect from Missiles. Ranged (blowpipe)
In case you cannot get the dragon hunter crossbow, the toxic blowpipe is not that bad. Please avoid using Void Knight equipment if the defense-reduction special attack weapon is used. If you do not use the special attack weapon, you can use the standard ranging armor to get the higher damage output and get the higher defense. One of the examples is black d’hide. It is a must for every player to use Protect from Magic that needs to be combined with the blowpipe and super antifire potion. At the start of the fight, you need to use a Bandos godsword or dragon Warhammer to reduce the defense of the Vorkath. Do not forget to fill in the special attack bars with a restoration pool or better every time you successfully kill Vorkath or fail to reduce the defense of him. When at 99 Ranged and rune dart, it is better to stand still even though it does not matter if you have landed the special attack or not.
