OSRS Vorkath Head on Range Cape

Vorkath’s head can be used on the ranging cape or max cape to increase its ammon-returning rate to 80% to match the assembler. Of course, an assembler here cannot be used as a substitute. It will consume the head which will upgrade all ranging and max capes recently in possession or purchased later.

Vorkath’ head is an item which is dropped by Vorkath. The drop rate of the head is 1/15 for any given kill, with the exception of the 50th kill where the drop is guaranteed. You may wonder what you can do with Vorkath’ head in the game. Whereas, Vorkath’s head can be combined with other items.

What are the Effects When Vorkath’ Head on Range Cape?

Effects When Vorkath’ Head on Range Cape

When Vorkath’s head is used on a ranging cape, it surely will give the enhanced ammo-saving effect to those capes by 80%. Ranging cape can be mentioned as a Cape of Accomplishment which is awarded to the players who have achieved 99 Ranged.

Well, you can purchase the skillcape and its respective hood from Aaron the Armour Appendages in the Ranging Guild for 99,000 coins. Just like most skill capes, the Ranging cape will serve +9 to all defensive stats and also a +4 bonus to prayer if it’s trimmed that requires a separate skill at level 99. Sure, the cape will be automatically trimmed if its condition is met.

As the ranging cape is equipped, it will give players the ammo-saving effects of Ava’s accumulator. By default, it will only provide the 72% ammo-saving effect of the accumulator, not the improved 80% savings of Ava’s assembler.

The ranging cape can also collect many kinds of armor items/mithril items after it has been upgraded with a Vorkath’s head into the players’ inventory. However, it can be turned off with the right-click Commune option.

This item can be saved in the cape rack of a costume room which is as part of the Ranging cape set along with the hood. However, ultimate Ironmen probably cannot recover individual pieces until the full set is stored.

Vorkath’ Head

Of course, you can combine the Vorkath’ head with other items for any purpose. Aside from used on ranging cape,  you can also take the head along with 75 mithril arrows and also Ava’s accumulator or 4,999gp together with the head and mithril arrows for a new device to Ava in Draynor Manor to get Ava’s assembler, giving increased stats and a better ammo-returning chance.

The Vorkath’s head can also be combined with a slayer helmet or slayer helmet (i). However, if combined, it will make a turquoise slayer helmet or turquoise slayer helmet (i) respectively.

Slayer helmet (i) here requires a Defence level of 10 to wear which is as a piece of equipment worn in the helmet slot. While, slayer helmet is a piece of headgear which is made by combining various pieces of slayer equipment. This slayer helmet can be used by players which have reached a level of 50 Crafting who have unlocked the ‘Malevolent masquerade’ ability for 400 slayer reward points.

In addition, Turqouie slayer helmet (i) is a cosmetic upgrade to the slayer helmet (i). This item can be created by adding Vorkath’s head once buying the ability Undead Head for 1,000 Slayer reward points from any Slayer master. It’s reversible and the head is returned to the inventory along with the slayer helmet’s components. Well, the head can be lost on death in PvP.

Vorkath’s head can also be assembled in a Skill Hall in a player-owned house. Before it can be assembled, the player should stuff it with the Taxidermist in Canifis. Of course, she will charge 50,000 coins and then return Vorkath’s stuffed head to the player.

The players can then assemble the Vorkath’s head using two mahogany planks and two gold leaves. However, she will waul ‘This blue dragon smells like it’s been dead for a remarkably long time. Even by my standards, it smells awful.’

Then, if you have an Ornate undead combat dummy in their player-owned house, you can add it to create an Ornate dragon combat dummy to act as a draconic monster.

Last, Vorkath’s head can be immolated to the Dark Altar north of Arceus. By doing so, it will grant 1,000 Prayer experience. However, it does not require or grant any favour. Additionally, Vorkath’s head can be used as an ensouled dragon head for the Arceuus spell Reanimate Dragon, giving more experience.
