The cave winds through the mountain and as a centerpiece of the region, the cave links Oreburgh City, Eterna City, Hearthome City, Celestic Town, and Snowpoint City through Routes 207, 208, 211, 216, and 217. If you want to fully navigate the caves of the mountain, you need surf, defog, strength, rock smash, waterfall and rock climbing.

The legend tells that Mount Coronet is where the Sinnoh region started. Dialga, Palkia and Giratina were created by Arceus at the Spear Pillar as well as the Adamant, Lustrous and Griseous Orbs and then fell asleep which never ended on the highest point of the mountain.

This mountain has a special magnetic field. It is able to cause Magneton and Nosepass to evolve into Magnezone and Probopass when they level up here. At the Spear Pillar and Hall of Origin, it is still able to happen.
