As stated before, Moonblooms refer to the buttercup colored variant of Mooshroom. On September 27, 2020, there was a report that a mob vote will take place during the event called Minecraft Live 2020 in October at 12 PM Eastern. The thing named moobloom was included as one of the three mobs on the vote, but it was the first one to be eliminated.
Just like Mooshrooms, Moonblooms mostly have the same Al behavior. They love to wander without having any aim, love to avoid lava, and cliff high enough to cause fall damage. When they walk, they will leave a trail of buttercups, making it a renewable source for yellow dye. A mob vote article stated in the official website of Minecraft that if Mooblooms move into the game, they will be able to interact with bees.
Meanwhile, Mooshroom is known as a passive mod that is a hybrid cross between a cow and a mushroom. When it comes to the appearance, they look like the usual cows in size and shape. They can be either red with white patches (with red mushrooms on its back and head) or brown with beige patches (with brown mushrooms on its back and head). The thing that set them apart from the regular cows is the eyes. Unlike the regular ones, the eyes of Mooshrooms are totally black.
Apparently, Mooshrooms will only spawn on the mushroom island biomes, explaining why they are one of the rarest mobs in the game. A brown one spawns every time the red one is struck by lightning. Aside from that, they also have a 1-in-2014 chance to spawn when breeding two red ones.
When a Mooshroom is sheared, it will drop five red mushrooms and the Mooshroom will turn into a regular cow. When sheared, there is also a rare chance that it will be divided into two cows. If you want to gather mushroom stew, you can use a bowl on a Mooshroom. The suspicious stew is able to be gathered if you feed a brown Mooshroom a flower, and then use a bowl. Keep in mind that the status effects of it depends on the flower given to the Mooshroom. In addition, it may also be possible to use Mooshrooms as an infinite or renewable food source.
When you kill a Mooshroom, raw beef and leather will be dropped like a regular cow, with the addition of the red mushrooms or brown ones if it is a brown Mooshroom.
When talking about breeding, Mooshrooms will follow the players with wheat, just like the regular cows. If the Moonshrooms that are located near each other are fed wheat, they will produce a baby Mooshroom. For your information, there are no mushrooms on the back of the baby Mooshrooms, and you can feed them wheat to make them grow quickly.

- If the brown Mooshroom is fed with a flower before milking it, then a suspicious stew will be dropped.
- Compared to any other animal mob, Mooshrooms have more drops.
- A ring of smoke will form around it for about 0.8 seconds when a Mooshroom is sheared.
- The Mooshroom is named as the only breedable mob that is not included in the tutorial world in the PS3 edition.
- The red Mooshroom will turn into a brown one if it is struck by lightning.
