    • You have to install the most important thing, namely DS4windows. When you are on the website of D24Windows, you have to click on Download  now and then you will see the latest version. The thing that you have to do is to click on DS4Windows.zip. You have to make sure that you save the file and don’t open it immediately. After you save it, then you have to open it.

    • Now, the thing that you have to do is to click on DS4windows.exe. If this is the first time to open it, there will be an installer and you have to choose Appdata. It will load for a while and then it will show you the welcome screen. Just make sure that you follow the steps. It will do everything easily for you. This screen will install a few drivers for you that you need so that you can make it work. If you are on Windows 7 or below, you also choose step 2 which is shown on the screen.
    • You have to double check to make sure that everything is connected correctly and then hit Finish in the setup.
    • Now, in the setup in DS4 Windows, there should be the default profile in the profiles tab. If you click on that, you will see the dual shock controller, but it does not means that it is actually connected yet. You may want to see whether the controller is actually connected. To do that, you have to go to the controllers tab. If you cannot see the controller, you have to stop in the bottom right corner and then click on Start.

    • Now, the controller is connected to DS4Windows.
    • You have to check whether everything works correctly by going to the profiles tab. Then, you have to click on Controller Readings. And now, when you interact with the sticks on your dual shock, you should be able to see the same thing happen in DS4Windows.
