Just like in real life, being the president in the game is one of the most prestigious titles that you can have. However, you need to put some effort into making it possible. This guide will show you how to turn your wish into reality.

Keep yourself clean
Apparently, not everyone is allowed to run for office. You will need to have at least decent Smarts to consider doing so. If the character that you are using is not blessed with a high intelligence since birth, do not feel uneasy as there is always a way to Rome. You can get this started by doing some things such as reading books, visiting the library, joining the clubs in the school, and using random boost opportunities that appear whenever you age up.
Reading a lot of books, studying hard and getting good grades are actually not enough as you also have to avoid making or getting into troubles such as bullying the others, acting up in the class, or even fighting against the bullies or doing the other bad things. Apart from giving you negative effects, your grades will also be affected. The thing could be worse if you start running for major, governor/council chair, or president and prime minister. All the bad things that you have done in the past could be used by your opponents against you, increasing the possibility of losing people’s vote.
Once you have graduated from high school, it is better for you to attend college as becoming a president requires higher educational attainment so that you can qualify for the elections. Just like in the high school, you are also strongly advised to just study hard and not get in any trouble. Since you are a bit older, the obstacles are harder so please try your best.

Get to know the Politics menu
As stated before, attending university is important. Since you will need a big amount of money, the best option is going to college for something like English, Political Science, or History. If you want, you can transfer from one of them into Business or Law School. It would be better for you to get good grades so that you can get the scholarship. If there is an opportunity to get the scholarship, please accept it as you are going to need some cash, so save more.
Running for a president requires you to have money. All the money is mostly put into the campaign. In addition to the cash for the campaign, you also needed to be at least 35 years old to run for the election in the United States. If you have a plan to try in another country, please look up the rules for running in that specific area.
Applying for the school board director is the first step that you can do before running for presidential election. Just like any other elections, money is needed for campaigns. Please try to get at least $10,000. If you do not get enough votes, exit the game.

The next up after the school board director is mayor. It is particularly the same so do the same thing as you did before. Since you are counted as a famous politician, you will be given the fame bar. Every player is allowed to run for president of your country as long as they meet the requirements which include the minimum age, finished graduate school, and have at least $5 million or more in the war chest for the campaign budget. Remember that these requirements apply for those who are representing one of the major parties.
In case you are running as part of the Green Party, as a Nationalist, as a Socialist, as a Libertarian, or even as a Fascist, the last three party options become available if you are running for the president of the United States, the chances of getting votes become higher. Having high fame is also important to improve the possibility of winning. Plus, you also have to build up social media to reduce the costs of the entry. Please try your best to make posts as much as you can, at least a few times a year. Once you have successfully gained fame, you are not recommended to do any of the options available while elected because it can harm you. Keep going by posting on social media and try to get verified once you gain a minimum of 10,000 followers.
As you probably know, being a politician can be a dirty game, so be ready to engage in some dirty tactics. If you want, you can also consider doing the dirty tactics to beat your opponents, but remember that it will not always work.
Just like any other elections, the presidential election is also based on luck. Feel free to give it a try and pray harder so you can get elected. If you managed to successfully become a president, you are allowed to do all the things that you did previously to up your Approval Ratings.
If you fail in the first attempt but you still want to be a president, there is still a chance for you to make the second attempt. It is normal for the players to fail and retry, so do not give up and keep trying until you finally make it.
