The Walkthrough of Conservatory Mission
According to IGN, here is the walkthrough of the Conservatory mission.
If you are ready to start the mission, you can go to the Conservatory. You have to follow the tunnel and then open the door to proceed. Here, you have to find what the Banished are searching for. You have to get the Chief’s next piece of equipment. You need to investigate the fallen Spartan to be able to unlock the Drop Wall. It can be deployed to give yourself cover from foes. It is able to be helpful when you get into a new room because it can protect the front of you where the fire is coming from, while the doorway you came through is able to protect your six. You are able to upgrade the Drop Wall with the Spartan Cores that you have been taking along the way.
If you have taken the Drop Wall, you will find that a door will open to the left. The thing that you have to do here is to kill the lone Grunt and start your descent into the Conservatory. You will get into a room with two Brutes to the right. Now, it is a good time to try your drop wall for the first time. Shooting can be done through the Drop Wall, but enemies need to wear it down before their bullets get through to you. After the Brutes are clear, then you have to take a blast coil from this room and then you have to go to the next one.
When you get into the next room, you need to be able to surprise and take a Brute and a Grunt with the blast coil. You have to be careful with the Elite down the ramp. You may find that your Drop Wall has regenerated. If so, it is able to be used by you to take out the Elite. In this room, there is a weapon rack with a shotgun and a commando rifle. For the next room, the commando rifle could be helpful if you have no weapon that is able to scope. You can take what you want and then you have to move to the next room.
When you get into this room, there will be a Jackal high and to the left, and an Elite further back in the room. There are also a lot of Grunts which patrol this area. Let’s say that you are playing on a higher difficulty. If so, you will want to take care of one thing at a time.
Now, you have to stick to the left side to take out the jackal and the elite. In this corner, you are able to hide and let the Grunts come to you. Here, you have to be careful with one more Elite that will appear. If you see him, the Drop Wall can be used to protect yourself.
After the enemies are taken out, a power seed is needed to open the door. From the terminal, you have to turn around. The power seed can be found on the platform straight ahead of you. If you have put it, then the door will open and you are able to go to the enemies in the next room.
Sticking in the hallway by the door as long as you are able to do it is a good strategy for missions in tight corridors like this. So, there is nothing which can really sneak up behind you and it is easy for you to backtrack for cover if you need it. From the hallway, the two Grunts can be taken out at the front of the room. You have to turn left soon after you get into the room to get the Jackal.
At the top back of the room, you can find a Jackal sniper. You are able to get around by drawing enemies to the entrance hallway and then you must take them out from there where the sniper is not able to reach you. Alternatively, if you got the Commando earlier this mission, you are able to zoom in on the Jackal and take him out.
The pathway to the next room can be found in the back corner of this area. You have to be careful with the Brute with the shotgun. It is effective at close range so that you have to keep your distance and you should be fine. Now, you have to proceed down the ramp into the next room.
Here, you will find a Brute patrolling the floor you will want to get first. The Drop Wall can be deployed here right after you enter to make him an easy target. Also, you will find a Brute manning the turret in the back. You should be able to get him from here with the Commando or the same weapon. It will make the room easier to navigate.
After the Brutes are taken care of, then you can find a sniper on the left of the room. You can begin to work your way there along the wall. After you are within firing distance of the sniper, you have to eliminate it.
Well, the walkthrough is still long. To read the complete walkthrough, you are able to access IGN which can be accessed here.
