New things in Genshin Impact may make you excited. It can be new characters, new events, or new features. And now, in Genshin Impact 1.4 update, there is a new dating sim activity. The name of it is Hangout Events. How to complete this event? Let’s find out here.

What is Dating Sim Event?

The name of this event is actually Hangout Events: Series. This is a dating sim event in Genshin Impact which focuses on specific characters. Each acts in this event like a story quest which you need to accomplish and then you will get rewards. This event can be found in Genshin Impact 1.4 update. This event is actually part of the patch’s Windblume Festival event. Recently, miHoYo released the trailer for the 1.4 update named Invitation of Windblume. It confirmed the addition of Rosaria which is a new spear wielding Cryo character whose rarity is 4 star.

Genshin Dating Sim Event

In the Windblume Festival where it will start when the 1.4 update launches on March 17th, 2021, you will have a chance to spend time with Noelle, Barbara, Bennett and Chongyun in Hangout Events. Each of the characters in this event will have their stories of events and also interactions. Also, it will have multiple endings based on the dialogue choices that you choose.

If you are able to unlock each of the actual endings, it will give you rewards in the form of a Hangout Memory illustration and if you are able to complete multiple endings, you will be able to get more rewards.

The Choices of Story in Dating Sim Event

In this event, it is not like other story quests. Here, each event has a specific set of choices which can give an effect to the result of the event. If you choose the wrong one, it will give you a bad ending. However, if you are able to choose the right one, you will be able to get closer to finishing it and you will get the best ending.

Is It a Permanent Event?

In Genshin Impact, this Dating Sim Event will be a permanent in game event after the release of 1.4 update. It means that you are still able to complete all of the events even after the end of the Windblume Festival.

The Way to Unlock Dating Sim Event in Genshin Impact

How to unlock Hangout event or Dating Sim event in Genshin Impact? You may wonder about this and maybe you can’t wait for enjoying this feature. If you want to unlock this event, you need to use a Story Key. What is it? It is the same keys that you use to unlock Story Quests. You are able to unlock it by finishing Daily Commissions. If you are able to finish 8 Daily Commissions, it will permit you to be able to unlock 1 Story Key.

Getting Hangout Memories

As explained above that you will be able to get Hangout Memories if you are able to complete each Hangout Event successfully. But, what is Hangout Memories? This is a photograph with the character that you chose during the quest. You have to unlock more Hangout Memories so that you will get rewards.

The Things Happen If Getting a Bad Ending

As also explained earlier that you are able to get a good ending if you choose the right decision, but you will also get a bad ending if you choose the wrong one. Then, what will happen if we get a bad ending? If you choose an option which leads to a bad ending, don’t worry. You are able to repeat the whole Hangout Event and then choose different choice.

The Rewards of Dating Sim Event

What are the rewards of this dating sim event? The things that you can earn are Primogems, Hero’s Wit, and also Character and Talent Ascension Materials. These awesome rewards can be obtained by you from this event after you get a certain number of Hangout Memories.

About 1.4 Update of Genshin Impact

This Hangout Event is one of features that you cab enjoy in 1.4 update of Genshin Impact. This update will be expected around in the middle of March to April. Besides Hangout Event, here are the new events that you are able to enjoy in Genshin Impact 1.4 Update.

The date of the event is on March 17th, 2021. Here, you will celebrate Windblume Festival in Mondstadt and play different mini games.

These quests will be able to be accessed on March 17th, 2021. Here, you have to get into the spirit of the festival by completing quests which are centered around it.

    • Elegy for The End which is a 5 star bow.
    • Wine and Song which is a 4 star catalyst.
    • Alley Hunter which is a 4 star bow.
    • Windblume Ode which is a 4 star bow.
    • The Alley Flash which is a 4 star sword.

New items which can be found in 1.4 update are The Visible Winds, Windsong Lyre, Windblume Festival Commemorative Balloon, Peculiar Collab Coupon, Festive Tour Ticket, Heart of The Spring, Inquisitive Endora, and Endora.

The new features in this update include:

    • Condensed Resin Limit Will Become 5. It can increase the Condensed Resin Limit from 3 to 5.
    • Reduce Your World Rank By 1. It will be able to decrease your world Rank by 1 temporarily.
    • Improvements On Spiral Abyss’ UI. With it, you will have easier viewing of Elemental Resonance and the ability to retry chambers.
