About Market Board
Getting know about the wish list is as important as getting know the Market Board in general. If you think you do not know that much about the Market Board, here is the proper explanation and the details about everything.
In the popular game named Final Fantasy VIX or FFXIV, the term Market Board is used to call the system that has been used in A Realm Reborn as the exchange of the Market Ward. It looks like the Auction House system featured in the Final Fantasy XI. Basically, it is the place where you are able to sell a lot of different kinds of items on the board after you assigned your retailers to the market.
- Accessing Market Board
You are able to access the Market Board in the market wards of the main city states with the addition of the residential district. Here is the list of the Market Board in each main city state.
- Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks: East Hawkers’ Alley (8-11) & (7-11); West Hawkers’ Alley (5-12) & (6-12); Mist (,)
- Ul’dah – The Steps of Thal: Sapphire Avenue Exchange (13-9), (14-10) & (14-11); The Goblet (,)
- Old Gridania: Ebony Stalls (14-8); Shaded Bower (14-9); Rosewood Stalls (14-10); Lavender Beds (,)
- Ishgard – The Pillars: The Jeweled Crozier (8-10)
Each Market Board mentioned above is connected from one to another. However, it does not mean that they are all the same. Apparently, there is a rule for you to use the Market Board that is located in the same city as the symbol next to the item. Otherwise, you will be charged tax in that certain city when buying the item shown. If you want to view the current tax rates, you can go to a Retailer Vocate in all three of the main city states mentioned above and Ishgard. If you have no idea about that symbol, it is the one that represents the Market Board. Gridania is represented by the yellow color, Limsa Lominsa is represented by the red color, Ul’dah is represented by the black color, and Ishgard is represented by the purple color.
