- Lothric Knight Sword
This sword is dropped by Lothric Knights which can be found in the High Wall of Lothric, the Grand Archives and Lothric Castle. This sword has great scaling for sharp, refined and blessed infusions. With pure Dexterity builds, it marginally performs best. If you use this in combat, the thrust attacks of this sword will give it a longer reach if we compare to other weapons in the category.
- Hollowslayer Greatsword
You are able to get it after defeating the Curse-Rotted Greatsword. It can be crafted through Soul Transportation with the Soul of the Rotted Greatsword and 1,000 souls. This sword deals an additional 20% damage against hollowed opponents so that it makes it specifically great in PvE because the most creatures in the game are hollow. With quality builds, Hollowslayer Greatsword will work greatly.
- Astora Greatsword
You are able to get this weapon by looting it off a corpse in the graveyard near the Cleansing Chapel in the Cathedral of the Deep area. This weapon holds the title of lightest ultra greatsword in the game which gives the users more flexibility in providing attributes and equipment options. If it is used in combat, you can expect lower stamina consumption compared to other ultra greatswords while getting the advantages from similarly long reach. With a Sharp infusion for Dexterity builds, it can work best.
- Claymore
You are able to find it at the High Wall of Lothric, on the plateau with the perched fire-breathing dragon. Also, in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, it is also dropped by enemies wielding claymores. This is a multipurpose weapon which can work with Dexterity, Strength and quality builds. You have to make sure to infuse it with the right gem.
- Ringed Knight Paired Greatswords
To get this weapon, you have to defeat the Ringed Knight near the cathedral in the Ringed City DLC. These weapons are effective in PvP particularly against anyone who lacks experience with the moveset of the pair. To be able to use these swords effectively, it is important for you to understand hit range and windows from enemies to avoid your attacks.
- Profaned Greatsword
You are able to get this weapon after you defeat Pontiff Sulyvahn. It is crafted through Soul Transportation by using the Soul of Pontiff Sulyvahn and 3,000 souls. This weapon can hit super hard. Besides, it has a moveset which combos very well with dodge rolls and thrust attacks.
- Sellsword Twinblades
It can be obtained as a starting weapon by the Mercenary class. For others, they can go to the Halfway Fortress bonfire in the Road of Sacrifices. The Twinblades are in a hallway past the Black Knight near the entrance to the keep. With a fluid moveset, these weapons merge fast strikes. It makes them one of the best weapons for a pure Dexterity build. You have to make sure that you infuse it with Sharp for the best results. So, you can slice and dice your way through any PvE content.
