Vorkath can be fought again after you complete Dragon Slayer II. Now, he is stronger. Dragon Hunter Crossbow
Dragon hunter crossbow is the best ranged weapon to use against Vorkath OSRS. Unfortunately, not all players can buy this weapons as its expensive cost. Passive effect damage and accuracy of the crossbow can improve stack with the Salve amulet (i) or Salve amulet(ei) and also Void Knight equipment allowing the players to hit in the 70 without special effects at 99 Ranged. But, the players need to note that the Salve amulet and Salve amulet (e) give no bonuses to Ranged whatsoever. In this case, the amulet should be imbued to give Ranged bonuses.
To receive the least amount of damage possible, the players have to use a dragonfire ward or anti-dragon shield with Dragon hunter crossbow. Also, the players need to pray for protecting from Missiles. The dragonfire shield is an inferior choice to the anti-dragon shield. It gives a negative Ranged bonus. Other items such as the twisted buckler or book of law will force the players to pray Protect from Magic, making them to take more damage each kill, and shortening their trips. In addition, the players have to use a Bandos godsword or dragon warhammer at the start of the fight to bring down Vorkath’s defence.
After the players kill Vorkath or success to reduce Vorkath’s defence with both special attacks, then the players have to replenish their special attack bars with a restoration pool or better. At 99 Ranged and rune darts, it is highly recommended to stay regardless of whether or not the player has landed a special attack.
Dragon Hunter Lance
Dragon hunter lance is the most effective melee weapon to use against Vorkath OSRS. The lance’s passive effect damage and accuracy can increase stack with the Salve amulet (e) or Salve amulet(ei), allowing the players to hit frequently and high. The players have to utilize Protect from Magic and wear the melee armour, attacking Vorkath once before moving away. Do not forget to take note of his attack speed. - Divine ranging potion or bastion potion (if you use Ranged).
- Extended super antifire.
- An emergency teleport (For optional).
- A teleport to Rellekka.
- Food, such as sharks.
- Guthix rest offer you to heal small amounts of health without losing ticks. Otherwise cooked karambwan are useful for combo eating at low HP. Also, it can be used as a replacement to anti-venom+ because it reduces venom to poison.
Strategy
Once Vorkath is awakening, his attack pattern has six random standard attacks, six random attacks, one special attack, and the other special attack. Throughout the kill the players have to keep run off and use control click to run when needed. Need to know that offensively Vorkath OSRS has 560 Attack, 308 Strength/Ranged, 150 Magic, +16 melee, +150 magic and +78 ranged accuracy. While defensively, he has a Defence level of 214, +26 stab/ranged, +108 slash/crush and +240 magic defence bonus. In fact, Vorkath has ability to hit up to 30 with magic, and 32 with melee and ranged. His high attack level means that his melee attacks are very accurate, even though it is less common compared to magic and ranged, and it is only performed in melee distance. You must have quick-prayers set according to your combat style and weapon type to reactivate you when deactivated by the pink dragonfire. Also, you have to be prepared to click two spaces away if Vorkath uses his insta-kill vertical dragonfire attacks.
Vorkath will be able to poison the players with his venom dragonfire. Remember that the pink dragonfire turns every single active prayer off, including Preserve. For this case, divine potions are highly recommended over normal potions. While recoil damage including Vengeance and rings of recoil do not work on Vorkath.
